Alexandra Lamb

Alexandra Lamb is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Connecticut at the Neag School of Education. She and her husband have lived in Manchester for over a decade with their rescue dog and two young children, the older of whom is starting with Manchester Public Schools in fall 2026.

She has spent her career working in, learning about, and supporting the growth of schools. She was a K-12 teacher for a decade, and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from UConn. She uses that expertise to support schools in doing the hard work of creating change, specifically in the context of educational technology initiatives.

She brings that experience and knowledge to the Board of Education to help Manchester school professionals navigate the complexity of new technological tools, prioritize equity, ensure students see themselves reflected in curriculum and staff, and provide rigorous and supportive instruction for every student.
