Beth Mix

Beth Mix has served on the Manchester Board of Education since 2022.

She has spent her professional life working with at-risk children and families.

She worked for the Town of Manchester for 25 years, first in the Social Service Department and then the Youth Service Bureau. At Youth Services, she specialized in working with kids who had committed first-time criminal offenses, trying to divert them from the juvenile justice system.

She received her BA from Wesleyan University in Middletown, and her Masters in Education from Eastern Connecticut State University.

She and her husband Tom have two sons and two cats.
