Dennis is a long-time Manchester resident who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University and a Master’s in Management from Rensselaer’s Hartford Graduate Center.
He began his career as a journalist covering local and regional news for Connecticut daily newspapers. He went on to work in both the private sector – where he held public and community relations positions at leading Connecticut companies – and in state government – where he served as the Communications Director and spokesman for a Governor and then for the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
Dennis and his wife Karen have two adult children, Brendan and Ana – who are graduates of Manchester’s public school system – and three grandchildren.
