Pamela is currently serving her first term on the Board of Directors, and made history when she was elected in 2017 as the first African-American to serve on the board.
She passionately advocates for equity and the empowerment of all people, especially those who are disenfranchised and marginalized. She leads with compassion and integrity as a manager and licensed clinical social worker at the Department of Children and Families, where she has worked for over 30 years.
She’s lived in Manchester for 33 years and her sons graduated from Manchester High School. She will continue to support better town services and infrastructure, and a more inclusive government and community.
Pamela has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Prairie View A & M University. She obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut.
