Tracy R. Patterson

Tracy works as an Operations Director in Business Insurance Operations at Travelers Insurance, where she has been employed for 23 years. At Travelers, Tracy serves as Chair of the Black African American & Allies Diversity Network.

 Born and raised in Hartford, Tracy lived in East Hartford before relocating to Manchester in 2015. A wife, and mother of four, two who attend Manchester Public Schools, she feels it is important to know her community and be involved.

 In the past, Tracy served as the PTA vice president of her children’s elementary school serving in that role for two years. Tracy also serves on the town’s Pension Board and supports the Democratic Town Committee, volunteering her time to campaign for candidates.

 This will be Tracy’s second term. Her hope is to continue the work that she started with a focus on bridging the opportunity gap, minority teacher recruitment & retention, and Equity and Inclusion.
