David Eisenthal

David Eisenthal was elected to serve as a member of the Manchester Board of Education in November 2021. In November 2024, he was elected to serve as Board Secretary.

David is a strong supporter of the Manchester Public Schools and advocates for the financial and other resources that the schools need to provide the education that the community wants for their children. He has also advocated improved management practices, including multi-year budget forecasting, which MPS adopted a few years ago.

In his professional life, David advises cities, towns, and other local governments on capital financing. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. He lives with his wife, Sandra, and has two adult sons, Alex and Jack.
